- I had the same experience as Joe Shannon. I guess Borland figured that if
- you didn't report a problem with 4.50 then you didn't need 4.51 and so they
- didn't inform you of the availability of the free upgrade. I suppose that you
- could still get 4.51 for free but that would be pointless if you now have 4.52.
- I'm staying with 4.52 until I have the cash to burn or I find that I really
- want 5.00. Borland should make this upgrade issue clearer up front.

- All things considered I'm very happy with Borland's C++ system and DBase.
- I hope that they "live long and prosper". I wish that they had a C++ system for
- Linux and the Mac. I know about the GNU system. It asked for a bug
- report on the first damned thing that I fed it. Borland C++ had no problem.
- C++ may be too much for the FSF to maintain with free programmers.
